Joe Gosselin

Joe Gosselin is the owner and primary mediator at G&O Mediation. An expert in his field, Joe has been working with facilitative mediation techniques throughout his career.

Whether the challenge was satisfying an unhappy customer, solving a quality problem on a job site or resolving a labor/management dispute on the shop floor, Joe learned early on that an open ear, a calm demeanor and good questions were essential to effective problem resolution.

Joe previously served as point person for a large manufacturer in all matters of labor/management concerns including: day-to-day employee issues, hiring, termination, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, grievance handling, workers’ comp, arbitration, Federal Mediation, bargaining unit contract negotiations and strikes. This experience helped to further strengthen his mediation techniques and inspired him to expand his practice to address additional types of disputes.

After extensive mediation training at The Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR) in Chicago, Joe obtained his certification in facilitative mediation in 2005. Since then, he has mediated a wide array of disputes both inside and outside of the court system. In addition, Joe lectures on mediation and facilitation at local colleges and universities for undergraduate and graduate students.
